As a veterinary technician, you’ve followed your calling to support the health and wellbeing of animals. While the rewards of your chosen profession are plenty, this career can also be challenging.
Designed to help veterinary professionals thrive, MentorVet Tech provides evidence-based programming that delivers the peer support, coaching, and mentorship you need in your chosen profession.
We are excited to announce that the NAVTA, AVMA, Royal Canin, and Merck Animal Health are joining forces to offer 300 full scholarships to veterinary technicians to participate in the MentorVet Tech Program in 2025.
MentorVet Tech
This five-month virtual mentorship and professional development program aims to promote wellbeing by providing a combination of training in professional skills and mentorship.
Complete five online self-paced learning modules focused on professional life skills including self-care, leadership, conflict management, and moral stress.
Once a month, upon completion of each module, you’ll meet virtually with your program peers to discuss module content, compare in-practice experiences, and deepen your understanding of how to apply lessons learned.

The MentorVet Tech Program will extend from February 7, 2025 - July 31, 2025. Another cohort will begin in August 2025.
The MentorVet Tech Program has been approved for 10 hours of continuing education credits in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.

Scholarship Qualifications
Applicants must be veterinary technicians practicing within United States
Applicants must be able to dedicate three to four hours per month for five months
