March MentorVet Mentor of the Month: Chirjeev Kaur, DVM
This March we want to highlight our Mentor of the Month, Chirjeev “Nikki” Kaur, DVM. Dr. Kaur is a 1996 graduate of Iowa State University Veterinary School and founded Hurstbourne Animal Hospital in 2000 in Louisville, KY. Dr. Kaur holds a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University. She believes in the empowerment of women, especially women of color. She came to the United States from India 25 years ago and has a breadth of knowledge and experience as a veterinarian and businesswoman.
February MentorVet Mentor of the Month: Matthew Stevens, DVM
This February we want to highlight our MentorVet Mentor of the Month, Matthew Stevens, DVM. Dr. Stevens is a Professional Services Veterinarian for Merck Animal Health. We chose Dr. Stevens as our Mentor of the Month because of his great ability to connect and empathize with early-career veterinarians. His strong listening skills and calm demeanor make you feel instantly comfortable talking through any issue you may be facing.
January MentorVet Mentor of the Month: Chrissie Schneider, DVM, MS, DABVP
Our January Mentor of the Month is Chrissie Schneider, DVM, MS, DABVP (Equine Practice). Chrissie was chosen as this month’s Mentor of the Month because of her dedication to meeting monthly to check in with her mentee to provide advice and feedback and her support in helping the MentorVet team adapt our program to suit the needs of equine practitioners!
