Dr. Bidot, why did you choose to be involved with MentorVet?
I am very passionate about my profession and helping others. I have had great mentors in my life that have helped me develop personally and professionally. I hope that I can do the same with other colleagues.
Please share an example of how you have helped your mentee?
Having a mentee that has chosen a similar career path as I have has been a great opportunity to share experiences and help them navigate through the different challenges that this path may bring them.
What is the most enjoyable aspect of being a vet mentor?
Being there for someone as you watch them grow in our profession.
Would you recommend volunteering as a mentor with MentorVet to other veterinarians?
Yes, I highly recommend being a mentor through MentorVet. I have been amazed of how well structured the program is.
What is your favorite self-care activity?
Working out. I love to be outdoors and exercise routinely. I also enjoy traveling and feel like it is a great way to destress.
Thank you, Dr. Bidot!
